We surveyed 200+ dancers about what the audition experience really looks like; the costs, the pressure, the impact, the format, the day itself, and what happens after. The goal was to map the full audition experience and identify where companies can actually make a difference.
The picture that came back was sharper than we expected, and a lot of it points at things companies actually have the power to change. It's worth saying: this is only our first attempt at mapping the experience, and we kept the scope limited on purpose. Even so, what came through is clear.
